Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician with at least 3 years of field experience. The ideal candidate must be able to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and service repairs on residential HVAC systems while following company procedures and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning and heating system issues.
- Perform service repairs including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related problems.
- Accurately identify problems and recommend solutions to customers.
- Follow company service procedures, checklists, and documentation standards.
- Complete service reports and update job information in the company CRM system.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and tools.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, management, and customers.
- Follow all safety guidelines and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and system performance testing
- Ability to follow company processes and service procedures
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with heat pumps, split systems, and package units
- Familiar with digital gauges and diagnostic tools
- Experience using service software or CRM systems
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
