Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role will also oversee Restaurant operations when banquet event are not scheduled. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests. Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of banquet events from setup to breakdown, ensuring seamless execution aligned with client expectations.
- Lead, train, and develop banquet staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery during events.
- Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste.
- Monitor shift operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and budget guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management, restaurant environment; banquet or catering experience is highly desirable.
- Hilton experience with the knowledge of Hilton systems such as PEP & Delphi is preferred.
- Strong supervisory skills with a background in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in inventory control, food production, and catering operations within the hospitality or hotel industry. Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
