American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a NICU Level II position requiring BLS and NRP certifications along with a NM or compact RN license.
-
Work in a Level II NICU (Special Care) unit on the 2nd floor of a hospital setting
-
12-bed unit caring for a neonatal patient population
-
Patient ratios maintained per NANN standards
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Rotating weekend hours required, working every other weekend
-
No on-call requirements
-
Floating to L&D required for well baby couplet care only
-
Required to attend all high-risk deliveries and Cesarean sections
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active RN license (NM state license or compact) required
-
Current BLS and NRP certifications required

Prior clinical experience preferred

Fingerprinting required prior to hire per New Mexico state requirements, with documentation of processing status
-
Candidates may begin work under a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending, provided they are supervised during this period

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

AHA certifications required
-
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II NICU setting

Scrubs provided by the unit

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate

Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
-
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
