Summary:
A Property Claim Representative is responsible for handling insurance claims filed by policyholders and inspecting damages reported by policyholders.
Essential Functions:
- Investigate claims and obtain relevant facts to determine coverage
- Write and obtain an agreed estimate of damages when coverage is available.
- Document claim file activities in accurate and timely manner.
- Interact effectively with customers, insurance agents, contractors and other personnel involved in the claims process.
This position involves travel to assess damaged property within the claims territory as well as working in either the Madison, WI claims office, Superior, WI claims office or Wausau, WI claims office. Qualified applicants will have previous property claims adjusting experience or construction experience.
