The Frank Olean Center is hiring dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) Program. We have open positions throughout Rhode Island and will do our best to match you with a family close to home!
PASS is a family-directed service providing in-home and community-based support to children with special health care needs. We are currently offering a $2.50/hour stipend for direct care hours - bringing the hourly payment to $19/hour.
What you will do:
As a PASS worker, you will play a vital role in helping children:
Develop independence in daily living activities
Improve safety through self-regulation skills
Engage in social and community activities with peers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children in achieving family-directed goals, promoting independence and safety
- Provide one-on-one support in homes and community settings
- Facilitate socialization and participation in activities
- Assist with self-care tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation (data sheets, progress notes, timesheets)
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Safely transport children to approved activities, as needed
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record for the past 3 years (valid driver’s license & vehicle insurance required)
Successful background check and DCYF clearance

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle
Clear criminal background
Experience with the developmentally disabled population

Basic computer skills
