If you like working in a clean, comfortable setting and are a reliable, hard-working individual, we would like to talk with you. Currently we need a technician to maintain our plants in the nursery, and perform basic nursery operations (ex. plugging plants, watering and feeding plants, inventory, cleaning). This individual will need to have a keen eye for detail, good dexterity, and be able to focus on a task for hours. We are looking for someone who has patience and finds satisfaction in the process of completing a job. Following training, most of this work will be completed on site independently.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the art and science of nursery and how modern plant nurseries produce clean plants. Additionally, we allow for very flexible determination of your own working hours. Previous experience in this area is a plus, but not required.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper operation, scheduling, and water distribution.
- Inspect irrigation lines, valves, pumps, timers, and controllers for leaks, clogs, pressure inconsistencies, or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor irrigation issues during shift; escalate major concerns to management or maintenance team as needed.
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on operational or environmental needs.
- Ensure proper water flow, pressure levels, and system efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs of inspections, repairs, and system performance.
- Coordinate with cultivation/operations teams to ensure irrigation aligns with daily production goals.
- Perform minor facility repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine walk-through inspections of assigned areas.
- Replace small parts such as fittings, hoses, filters, or nozzles as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of irrigation and mechanical areas.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Respond promptly to overnight system alerts or emergencies.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Communicate shift updates and outstanding issues to day crew and supervisors.
- Support compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong-odors
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to pollens
- Must be able to stand and walk around for 90% of the time.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to lift arms and hand over head
- Must be able to bend, squad, lift, and push with no difficulty
- Must be able to do repetitive gripping and grasping, twisting, turning, repetitive lifting and carrying over 50 lbs.
