Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and factory-trained Boiler Technician with 5–7 years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting factory-trained boilers. Experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of boiler systems, safety protocols, and compliance requirements, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boiler Maintenance & Repair:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on factory-trained boilers, including steam and hot water systems.
- Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Installation & Upgrades:
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of boiler systems in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct upgrades and retrofits as necessary to optimize system efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, codes, and regulations, particularly in healthcare or hospital environments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and safety checks.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with facility management and other maintenance personnel to coordinate repairs and system improvements.
- Provide guidance and training to on-site staff on proper boiler operation and maintenance.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation for all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience with factory-trained boilers.
- Preferred Background: Previous experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly desirable.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).
- Certifications:
- Boiler Operator License or equivalent certification (required).
- Additional factory training certifications (preferred).
This is a contract to Union position

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
