We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Auto Loan Repossession Agent to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the repossession process for delinquent accounts, serving as a liaison between borrowers and internal teams. This role involves identifying resolution opportunities, coordinating with repossession agents, handling escalated cases, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and compliant recovery operations.

Duties
- Supervise the process of locating delinquent or past-due accounts.
- Evaluate and assign repossession accounts to 3rd party vendors and monitor the completion of assignments
- Conduct light skip tracing, review payment activity or arrangements, and place accounts on hold or close assignments when appropriate
- Manage impoundments, coordinate the release of vehicles as necessary, and arrange for their delivery to the dealership or auction.
- Engage with vehicle owners to negotiate repossession terms and resolve conflicts amicably.
- Maintain detailed records of all recoveries, including location details, vehicle condition, and recovery methods used.
- Ensure compliance with all legal procedures, company policies, and safety regulations during every step of the repossession process.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of auto collections experience with intermediate knowledge of repossession policies
- Demonstrates excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish
- Excels in time management, task prioritization, delegation, and performing under high-paced conditions
- Strong conflict management skills to handle sensitive situations professionally and effectively.
- Customer service skills to communicate clearly and courteously with vehicle owners during recovery operations.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
