Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Plumbing Inspector to perform on-site inspections, verify code compliance, and ensure safe and high-quality construction practices.
Responsibilities:
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and job site regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA, UES, and client-specific safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Perform Plumbing inspections.

Document and report inspection findings with detailed observations, diagrams, photos, and compliance recommendations, ensuring accuracy and clarity for internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Identify and communicate code violations and non-compliance issues, providing clear guidance and corrective action recommendations to contractors, engineers, and project managers.

Perform follow-up inspections as required, verifying that corrective actions have been implemented and final compliance is achieved.

Maintain clear and timely communication with field supervisors and dispatching teams, providing real-time updates on job status, locations, and any site-specific concerns.

Assist in reviewing permit applications and project documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy before inspections.

Stay up to date with evolving building codes, safety regulations, construction material standards, and industry best practices, participating in ongoing training and certification programs as needed.

Travel to project sites as required, often across varying terrains and environmental conditions, to conduct inspections and provide technical assessments.

Operate and maintain a company-assigned motor vehicle, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as needed to ensure reliability for fieldwork.

Be available to work flexible shifts, including varying schedules, weekends, and evenings, as required to meet project demands and client needs.

Perform other duties as assigned to support project goals and company initiatives.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; active Building Inspector License is required.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Certifications in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or plans examination (such as ICC or equivalent) are preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Field Data Collection (FDC) software or similar industry tools.

Ability to read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, construction plans, specifications, procedures, technical manuals, and reports.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports, correspondence, and communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors, contractors, and clients.

Effective time management, mathematical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and efficient inspections.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a strong work ethic and focus on delivering high-quality, professional inspections.

Ability to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme weather and active construction environments, and physically navigate construction sites safely.

Flexibility to travel within the designated region as needed to support inspections, compliance efforts, and business operations is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Florida Plumbing license required (BN)

This position primarily works in an outdoor work environment, regularly exposed to varying field conditions, including:
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires extensive domestic overnight travel 50% to 70% of the time, sometimes at short
notice, to support business objectives and client engagements. Travel will be to job sites, working in
various outdoor conditions, and adhering to company safety protocols.
