As a Machine Operator II, you’ll have the opportunity to build new skills through cross‑shift and cross‑departmental training. Job Description
Operates complex equipment while achieving quality standards, a production plan, and cost objectives. Makes minor adjustments and performs troubleshooting logic to maintain part specifications. Ensures device meet product specifications. This position assists in the periodic maintenance of machinery and performs minor repairs as required.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the operations of machinery and associated equipment to detect and report malfunctions.
Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and minor machine maintenance such as cleaning debris from machine, performing product and instrument checks, and complete equipment repairs and part replacement. Adjust machine parameters and controls within specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Reads and interprets a variety of work schedules, Kanban, Discrete j ob , bill of materials, pick lists, drawings and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
Continually review procedures for clarity, completeness and correctness. Demonstrate the ability to reference and talk through manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Set up work station with necessary equipment and supplies as per job assignment.
Coordinate with Production Supervisors/Coordinators to meet production requirements.
Operates bar coding and other computerized equipment.
Manages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to actively communicate with Production Coordinator and/or Production Supervisor. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Education documentation is required. Any other licenses or registrations to Professional Societies are to be provided by the candidate at his/her discretion.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to read and interpret a variety of customized blue prints, travelers, SOP's, operational codes and relevant tables and charts.
Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$19.75 - $28.75 Hourly
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
