Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our young learners. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and supports the unique needs of toddlers. Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth in areas such as language, motor skills, socialization, and emotional regulation for toddlers
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Monitor and document each child’s progress, behavior, and individual needs to tailor educational approaches accordingly
- Foster positive behavior management strategies that support social skills and emotional well-being
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s development, milestones, and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and health protocols including first aid procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with early childhood education best practices and inclusive teaching strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods for toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Demonstrated classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner
- Experience with behavior management techniques that promote social-emotional growth
- Passion for nurturing young children’s curiosity and supporting their individual needs through caregiving and teaching

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
