LuLu's Express is looking for a dependable, fast-paced, and passionate Line Cook to join our growing team. If you take pride in serving great food, thrive in a high-volume kitchen, and work well under pressure, we want to meet you.
Pay
$13.00–$20.00 per hour
Based on experience and performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to LuLu's recipes and standards.
- Operate fryers, grill, flat top, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout your shift.
- Prep food before service and restock stations as needed.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Assist with closing duties and kitchen cleaning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience preferred.
- Experience with seafood, soul food, or high-volume restaurants is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
