JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the administration of standardized academic, cognitive, and behavioral assessments, along with a demonstrated ability to follow testing protocols with precision and ethical integrity. A thorough understanding of child development and learning processes is essential, as is the capacity to interpret and communicate test results in a way that informs instructional planning.
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with licensed professionals, educators, administrators, and families. The psychometrist must be capable of managing responsibilities across multiple campuses, including scheduling, data organization, and coordination of screenings. Proficiency in data entry, scoring systems, and general computer applications is essential, along with the discretion required to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Success in this role will depend on attention to detail, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and a strong commitment to supporting equitable and timely evaluation processes that align with state and federal guidelines.

JOB GOAL
To support the district’s assessment processes by providing accurate, efficient, and ethical administration of standardized evaluations under the supervision of licensed professionals; to assist in the timely identification of students requiring special education services; and to contribute to data-informed decision-making that enhances instructional planning and student outcomes across the district.

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the system’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the system.
