As a Nursing Assistant
Hands-on Care Typical schedule
Mornings 10 Hrs average
Schedule 6:30-8:30am
Nights Part time 15 hrs. average
Schedule evenings 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Monday thru Friday typical, some occasional weekends with notice.
Mobility assistance needed
Responsibilities
- Getting up and ready
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Pivot transfers bed to power chair.
- Meal prep
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing home operations and resident care needs.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bowel Program and Urinary bag changes night to day leg bag.
- Knowledge of infection control practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills for interacting.
