Summary
Manages, plans, and organizes day-to-day operations as well as special events that are associated to the Volunteer Services Department, Guest Services Department, the Gift Shop, and the Telephone Operators. This is to include recruiting, interviewing, retaining, and onboarding of new candidates. Collaborate with various stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization to assess and develop programs that support and augment operational efficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Marketing or Social Services
- Two years of experience in program development from inception to implementation.
- Two years of experience in recruitment and sourcing of talent.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently; strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior leadership experience in directing and organizing a volunteer services program including recruitment of volunteers, coordination of special events, and the design and development of volunteer programs.
- Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).
