Food Truck Worker
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent in-person customer service, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with daily operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks such as prepping, cleaning, and supporting both cashier and cook responsibilities to deliver a positive experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash register operations as a cashier, including processing transactions accurately
- Assist cooks with food preparation and cooking duties as needed
- Maintain strict food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and storage
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal prep to ensure timely service
- Keep the dining area, kitchen, and workstations clean and sanitized according to health regulations
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Support team members in daily food truck operations to ensure smooth workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Experience working as a cashier, cook, or in food prep is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
