Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Interventionists to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders. Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, fostering independence and confidence
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients during therapy sessions and in home and community-based settings, ensuring consistency and adherence to care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, review, and update personalized care plans that align with client goals
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and privacy of medical records
- Use behavioral management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in children and adults
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental disorders in clinical or home settings
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education principles
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient-centered care in a compassionate manner
- Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and documenting medical records accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards
- Previous experience in home-based behavioral therapy or working with children is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and healthcare providers

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
