Plastic Extrusion / Injection Operator Job Summary:
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable and motivated Plastic Extrusion / Injection Operators for a leading plastics manufacturer in Hamilton, IN. In this role, you will operate production equipment, perform quality inspections, package finished products, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. Pay:
- $17.00 - $18.50/hour
- $1.50/hour shift premium for 2nd Shift
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Scheduled shift is based on company needs and seniority. Overtime opportunities may be available.
Plastic Extrusion / Injection Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plastic extrusion and injection molding equipment.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products.
- Package products according to company standards.
- Build and assemble product racks as needed.
- Clean and perform basic maintenance on production equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Assist other departments and team members when needed.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety guidelines.
