This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary flair, hospitality skills, and love for creating engaging social environments. This position starts each day at 5:30am.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly during breakfast service and evening social events, providing attentive and friendly customer interactions
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, evening snacks and alcoholic beverages adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and quality standards
- Assist with food presentation, garnishing dishes, and ensuring all offerings are visually appealing and well-stocked
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing routines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, coffee machines, blenders, and POS systems for processing transactions
- Support food handling procedures in accordance with food safety management protocols to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with team members to set up catering or banquet-style events, including food setup, serving stations, and cleanup
Experience
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, serving, and customer service within the hospitality or food industry
- Knowledge of wine service, food handling safety practices, and sanitation procedures
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, or beverage machines is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing cash transactions accurately
- Previous catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional in-person customer service while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting
