QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/LICENSE: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license required. BLS required. Valid NJ Driver's License is required for all employees in the Adult and Child Partial Programs.
EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
2-4 years medical/surgical experience preferred; 2 years emergency room experience preferred.
All registered professional nurses after 24 months of initial assignment will have completion of ATCN. Minimum of 8 contact hours of education every 1 year in basic stroke assessment, intervention and NIHSS to be completed by 6 months of hire and continuously maintained thereafter.
2-4 years medical/surgical experience preferred; 2 years emergency room experience preferred.
ACLS required within 6 months of initial assignment

2-4 years neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience preferred.

3 years labor and deliver experience preferred.
OB certification required
Minimum 1 year medical/surgical experience desired; 1-2 years operating room experience preferred.

Current NJ State Certification as a Mental Health Screener required.

Adolescent Program
1 yr experience in behavioral health setting. Crisis intervention Prevention Preferred; tracked by department leadership.

Wound care and HBO Training course through Healogics is required within 1 year from date of hire or transfer.

Hammonton Satellite Emergency Department
