About the Role
Abel Heating and Cooling is an established residential and light commercial HVAC company west of the Twin Cities. We're looking for a skilled installer who takes pride in their work. You'll install HVAC systems while representing Abel, and we offer competitive pay and bonus opportunities to match.
What You'll Do
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems: furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, humidifiers, and related equipment
- Work from job documentation and ensure every install meets manufacturer specs and local code
- We do mostly retrofits with very little new construction
- Take photos and document your work clearly
- Communicate professionally with customers and the office as needed
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerant handling, and basic electrical/low-voltage wiring
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA 608 certification preferred
- Ability to work independently or with a helper, manage your time, and take ownership of your work

Pay ranges from $40–$55/hr depending on experience, with commission opportunities on top of that.

Pay: $72,800.00 - $114,400.00 per year
