College of The Albemarle (COA) invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Program Coordinator, Nurse Aide and Health Occupations. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible faculty position responsible for providing high-quality instruction while coordinating the College's credit and non-credit Nurse Aide and Health Occupations programs. The Program Coordinator provides leadership for program operations, curriculum implementation, student success initiatives, faculty support, regulatory compliance, and continuous program improvement in accordance with College, state, and accrediting agency requirements.
Faculty assignments may include classroom, laboratory, clinical, hybrid, online, day, evening, and weekend instruction at any College campus, instructional site, or affiliated clinical location based on program and operational needs. Limited travel throughout the College's service area and to clinical partners is required.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the College's pre-employment process, verification of credentials, continued funding, enrollment, program needs, and compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and licensing requirements. In accordance with applicable state and institutional guidelines, certain positions may be eligible for recruitment, hiring, retention, or other incentive payments. Incentives are not guaranteed and are subject to available funding, institutional approval, and operational needs.
Program Coordinators receive $150 stipend in addition to their salary.
