Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient experience
- Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and OSHA requirements
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, and Epic to maintain accurate medical records and streamline documentation processes
- Coordinate medical administrative support functions including medical records management and medical terminology accuracy
- Implement practice management strategies to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and staff productivity
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a medical or dental office setting with strong leadership skills in managing teams as a healthcare practice manager
- Extensive knowledge of medical office management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, EMR/EHR platforms (eClinicalWorks, Epic), and related software tools
- Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management, budgeting, managed care, utilization management, and healthcare financial strategies
- Background in dental clinic experience or healthcare management with familiarity in medical administrative support and medical records handling
- Strong understanding of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards
- Experience with acute care or hospital environments is advantageous but not required; veterinary or critical care experience is a plus for versatile healthcare insight
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams within a healthcare setting
