Tony D's New York Pizza & Restaurant is looking for a dishwasher to join our kitchen staff. This position is essential to keeping our restaurant running efficiently and maintaining a clean environment for both our kitchen staff and our customers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with a flexible schedule and competitive pay. Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload dishwashing machines with used dinnerware
- Hand wash specific kitchenware items (cutting boards, large pots, etc)
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and kitchen equipment appropriately
- Ensure that the restaurant always has enough clean dinnerware during peak hours
- Set up food preparation stations with clean equipment
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Sweep and sanitize the kitchen floor
- Immediately report any technical issues with dishwashing equipment
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as dishwasher or member of restaurant staff
- Experience with industrial washing equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and assist with other tasks, as needed
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in a team setting
