Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water damage, fire and other disasters. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster response, utilizing your skills in cleaning, restoration, and construction to help clients recover quickly and efficiently. Duties
- Assess water damage and determine the appropriate mitigation and restoration procedures
- Operate hand tools and power tools to remove water, dry structures, and perform mitigation services
- Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation
- Assist with fire restoration efforts by removing soot, smoke damage, and odor control
- Maintain mitigation equipment. Setup, monitor, and document the drying process.
- Support construction activities such as minor repairs or structural drying as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in mitigation work
- Knowledge of water and fire restoration procedures
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
- Skilled with keeping a drying log: preferred MICA background

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
