Route 11 Potato Chips is a small kettle chip producer with a big personality and a loyal following. We open our doors to the public so visitors can watch how our delicious chips are made, sample fresh batches, and take home their favorite flavors from our retail shop. Our goal is to make every visit fun, welcoming, and memorable.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a personable, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Sales & Tour Guide Associate. In this role, you’ll be the face of Route 11 — welcoming guests, handling retail sales, keeping the shop neat and stocked, and guiding visitors through our chip-making process with behind-the-scenes insights, product samples, and plenty of charm.
IDEAL START DATE: July 1st, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome all visitors to Route 11.
- Handle retail sales of merchandise and chips using cash and the Square POS system.
- Restock shelves and maintain organized, accurate inventory.
- Keep the retail and guest areas tidy and inviting at all times.
- Lead engaging factory walk-throughs, explaining our kettle chip process step-by-step and sharing Route 11’s story.
- Offer product samples and answer questions to ensure a fun, informative experience for every guest.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work Saturdays plus 2 additional days per week on-site.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, professional attitude.
- Comfortable speaking to groups and creating an enjoyable tour experience.
- Able to handle cash and use a POS system (Square experience a plus).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and restock merchandise as needed.
