DCM Trucking seeks motivated Class A CDL drivers to join our rapidly growing dirt moving and construction hauling operation. We support multiple construction projects throughout the Chicagoland suburbs and offer steady, year-round work with a wide variety of projects.
Unlike many driving positions, no two days are the same. Our drivers haul dirt, stone, aggregate materials, construction debris, demolition materials, and equipment to support active construction sites across Northern Illinois.

What You'll Be Doing
- Operating Class A dump trucks and trailers safely and professionally
- Hauling dirt, gravel, stone, sand, asphalt, and construction materials
- Transporting demolition and construction debris
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintaining accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicating with dispatch, project managers, and site supervisors
- Loading and unloading materials at quarries, landfills, recycling facilities, and construction sites
- Following all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety procedures
Entry-Level CDL Drivers Welcome
We are willing to train motivated drivers who have recently obtained their Class A CDL and want to build a career in the construction and hauling industry.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn construction site operations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Starting Pay
$20-$30 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Experienced CDL Drivers
We are also seeking experienced drivers familiar with construction hauling operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of Class A CDL experience
- Experience operating dump trucks, end dumps, or transfer trailers
- Familiarity with quarries, landfills, and construction sites
- Knowledge of load securement and weight regulations
- Strong backing and maneuvering skills
- Safety-focused mindset
Compensation
$30-$35+ per hour based on experience, equipment knowledge, and performance.
