We are Urgently seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in dealership settings being a significant advantage. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and more. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers while ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including transmissions, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance as per manufacturer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Estimate repair costs accurately using auto estimating techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with most all makes of vehicles is preferred; knowledge of diesel engines is a plus.
- Proficiency in welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle issues.
