Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to plan work effectively.
- Oversee masonry work, trim carpentry, roofing, and glass installation tasks.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently in various construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site and implement solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
Experience
- Proven experience as a General Contractor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes including masonry, carpentry, roofing, and glass installation.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints is essential.
- Familiarity with using both power tools and hand tools safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
