The Richland Hospital, Inc. is seeking Respiratory Therapists for full-time and part-time night shift positions. These roles include an every-third-weekend rotation and holiday coverage.
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Respiratory Care, the Respiratory Therapist monitors and assesses patients’ respiratory status across all areas, including Intensive care, medical/surgical, and the emergency department. The therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients of all ages—from infants to the elderly—while initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and managing respiratory equipment. The Respiratory Therapist will work closely and collaboratively with nursing and provider teams to provide exceptional care to our communities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of an NBRC-accredited program
- State of Wisconsin certification in Respiratory Therapy (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (preferred)
- Valid BLS within 3 months of hire, ACLS within 6 months, and NRP within 1 year
