Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sit-Down Electric Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced food-grade warehouse. This role is responsible for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and staging products while maintaining strict food safety and warehouse standards. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of forklift experience, works safely and efficiently, and is committed to accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down electric forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials.
- Receive, store, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Accurately complete inventory movements using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and food-grade warehouse regulations.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain food safety standards.
- Work closely with warehouse leadership to ensure production and shipping schedules are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Previous experience in a food-grade, food manufacturing, or FDA-regulated warehouse preferred.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
