Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Service Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and deliver top-tier service to ensure optimal indoor environments. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine inspections of mechanical components such as pumps, motors, valves, and ductwork to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding equipment for component fabrication or repair.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and document system performance after repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations when handling refrigerants like ammonia refrigeration or other hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems; construction experience is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings related to HVAC design.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, refrigeration processes, and appliance repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, pumps, motors, and welding procedures.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field testing devices confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a <PERSON> driver vehicle preferred.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and property maintenance practices is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
