Maintenance Supervisor

We are a leading property management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We are excited to announce the opening of a new multi-family apartment community in Concord, NC, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance at our new multi-family apartment community during and after lease-up phase. This includes supervising maintenance staff, performing and coordinating repairs, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring the property is well-maintained and in compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise 1 maintenance technicians (in the future), including hiring, training, and performance management
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Respond to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours calls
- Assist with budget planning and management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in maintenance or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role, preferably in multi-family housing
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and property management software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
