Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Server/Cashier to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing top-notch guest service while efficiently handling transactions and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or processing payments, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our guests leave satisfied and eager to return.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their seating and dining needs in a courteous manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
