Ritual Nail Bar is a modern, elevated nail salon focused on thoughtful service, beautiful details, and a warm, welcoming experience. We’re looking for a friendly, polished, and naturally personable Front Desk Assistant who enjoys connecting with people and has a strong eye for color, style, and aesthetics.
The Role
As the first and last point of contact for our clients, our Front Desk Assistant plays an important role in creating the Ritual experience. You’ll welcome clients, walk them to their seats and bring them polish choices, keep the front desk and salon organized, and make sure every guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.
A strong understanding of color theory and color coordination is especially important. You should feel comfortable helping clients choose shades that complement their skin tone, outfit, occasion, or personal style, while being able to confidently guide them through our color collection.
What You’ll Do
- Warmly greet and welcome every client with genuine enthusiasm.
- Create a friendly, polished, and inviting first impression.
- Manage appointments, check-ins, check-outs, phone calls, texts, and client inquiries.
- Help clients select nail colors by considering skin tone, undertones, personal style, and occasion.
- Develop a strong knowledge of our polish and gel color collection.
- Offer thoughtful color recommendations and help clients feel confident in their choices.
- Communicate clearly with nail technicians to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Maintain an organized, beautiful, and immaculate front desk and pedicure area.
- Monitor the appointment schedule and help keep the salon running efficiently.
- Handle payments and other front desk responsibilities accurately.
- Help with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Support the team wherever needed to maintain the Ritual experience.

An Ideal Candidate
You might be a great fit for Ritual if you’re the person your friends always ask, “Which color should I get?” You naturally notice the difference between warm and cool tones, love putting colors together, and enjoy helping people find something that feels uniquely them.
Previous salon or beauty-industry experience is a plus, but a great personality, strong aesthetic eye, and willingness to learn are just as important.
