Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in managing urological conditions commonly seen in geriatric and post-acute populations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site urological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities.
- Assess and manage common urological conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), urinary incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary retention, and catheter-related issues.
- Perform and manage urological procedures, including catheter insertion and changes, bladder scans, and post-void residual assessments.
- Prescribe and manage medications related to urological health, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus in Urology or related field.
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of CA
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Urology or a related field (Preferred).
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Urology disorders (Preferred).
