This is a blended job. The employee will be performing both the role of a houseman and junior maintenance tech. Must have some maintenance knowledge.
The Houseperson role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The maintenance role will be ensuring that all guest issues and complaints in the guest areas are handled accordingly. It maybe anything from fixing, repairing, and reporting maintenance issues.
******Schedule is always SAT/ SUN evenings. The other days will be either AM/PM- so you must be flexible.
What will I be doing?
As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: This position requires carpet cleaning as main job but will also be required to do houseman duites
General Maintenance will be required for this position. We will train specific to our hotel. This is a dual role that will be primarily evenings and weekends.
- Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms. Including exterior.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
- Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
