POSITION: ASD Teacher LOCATION(s): Seaholm High School
SALARY: Long-term substitute rate POSTING DATE: August 17, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents and staff
- Strong communication, technology and organizational skills
- Knowledge of instructional strategies that are successful with students with varying learning needs
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attention to the individual needs of students and development of responsible learners
- Short and long-term planning and organization for the benefit of the student
- Standards of behavior that serve as models for students
- Other duties assigned by school principal/building administrators
- Supports and implements district initiatives
- Pursue and participate in continuous professional development
