Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate that has have previous shipping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to warehouse tasks. Location: Antioch TN 37013
Schedule: Monday -Friday (8-9 hour shifts)
Payrate: $18.00 /hr
Duties:
- Perform picking and packing of customer orders with precision using RF scanners and other data entry tools to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Packing small packages for shipment processing
- Manage shipping logistics by preparing shipments, verifying shipping documents, and coordinating with carriers for delivery schedules.
- Conduct stock stocking activities, including organizing inventory on shelves and maintaining proper placement for easy access.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Support trade compliance efforts by adhering to international trade regulations and packaging standards.
- Collaborate with team members across departments such as customer service, logistics, and procurement to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Requirments:
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing
- Proficiency in using computers
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy.
- Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping software
- Strong understanding of logistics concepts including shipping logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
