Wildomar Senior Assisted Living is seeking a caring, dependable, and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our Assisted Living team. As a Medication Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting resident wellness by administering medications accurately, monitoring residents' well-being, and collaborating with caregivers and the Wellness Director to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and California RCFE regulations.
- Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the Wellness Director or licensed nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when appropriate.
- Maintain medication carts, medication records, and supplies in compliance with community standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, pharmacies, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and community policies.
Qualifications
- Previous Medication Technician experience in Assisted Living or senior living preferred.
- Must meet California RCFE requirements to administer medications.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
- Ability to work collaboratively with caregivers and the clinical team.
