Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver / CNA and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need supportive care in the comfort of their own homes. As a caregiver, you will provide one-on-one assistance and companionship to clients while building trusting relationships with the individuals and families you serve. This role is perfect for someone who is dependable, compassionate, patient, and passionate about helping others live safely and comfortably at home.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and dignity
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to office staff or nursing supervisors
Remind clients to take medications as directed according to care plans
Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility support using gait belts or other assistive devices when needed
Provide specialized care and support for clients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, developmental disabilities, or other cognitive challenges
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and daily client observations
Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures to ensure quality client care
Qualifications & Experience
Previous caregiving, CNA, home health, assisted living, or direct support experience preferred
Compassionate, dependable, and patient with a strong desire to help others
Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or clients requiring memory care is a plus
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily care tasks
CPR/BLS certification preferred but not required
Must be able to pass background checks and meet state requirements for caregiving services
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a home setting
