Position Title: Finishing Sales Engineer
Summary: The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams to develop custom engineered solutions for finishing industrial applications. This position is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, process engineering, or mechanical engineering who enjoys solving technical challenges and building customer relationships.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Develop technical proposals, quotations, and cost estimates for custom industrial finishing systems.
· Evaluate customer applications and recommend equipment, layouts, and process improvements that increase productivity, efficiency, and quality.
· Identify potential cost savings and proactively address project risks throughout the quoting process.
· Collaborate with engineering, project management, manufacturing, purchasing, and service teams to develop complete customer solutions.
· Attend and contribute to meetings with customers, vendors, sales, and internal teams.
· Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ERP software, and other business systems to prepare proposals and manage projects.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships through technical support and effective communication.
Qualifications:
· Strong academic credentials: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
· Sales experience: 2+ Years
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Self-directed, self-motivated, hard-working, strong initiative
· Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced, working environment and adapt to changing circumstances
