We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our Montessori classroom ages Infants , Toddlers and afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to grow within a Montessori environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a calm, engaging, and nurturing classroom
- Assist in implementing Montessori activities and routines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and prepared environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and families
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in childcare or early childhood settings (required)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the Montessori philosophy and methods
- Patient, caring, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to actively engage with young children throughout the day
Preferred:
- Experience in a Montessori classroom (a plus, but not required)
- CPR/First Aid certification, food handlers (or willingness to obtain)
