Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 12:30 SM Monday - Friday

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Packaging Technician 2 to support chemical packaging operations in St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for staging, filling, capping, labeling, and over-packing liquid, powder, and lyophilized products according to approved packaging specifications and ISO procedures.
The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of experience in a chemical or packaging environment, hands-on experience working with chemicals, and a strong understanding of safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stage, fill, cap, label, and over-pack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products.
- Perform manual and semi-automated packaging operations according to approved specifications.
- Mix and handle chemicals safely and accurately.
- Complete required packaging documentation in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Deliver completed products to inventory.
- Follow all established quality, safety, and operational procedures.
- Support site quality systems and documentation requirements.
- Perform basic data entry and computer-related tasks.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling and packaging products.
- Train other employees as needed.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant work area.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5–6 years of experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or packaging environment.
- Experience with chemical mixing, filling, labeling, and/or packaging.
- Comfortable working directly with chemicals while following established safety procedures.
- Good understanding of basic math.
- Basic data-entry skills.
- Basic computer skills and computer literacy.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and accurately complete documentation.
- Willingness and ability to learn new processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous SAP experience or familiarity.
- Previous experience working within ISO-regulated environments.
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., with lifting equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to see at both close and long distances.
- Must successfully complete required physical and respirator fit testing.
- Must be able and willing to wear required PPE, which may include:
- Air helmet or respirator/mask
- Safety shoes
- Apron
- Rubber and Tyvek suits
- Protective gloves
- Safety glasses/goggles
- Must be clean-shaven daily to meet respirator fit and safety requirements.
