We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Front Office Specialist to join an outstanding team in Bartlesville, OK. Experience in Orthopedics is a plus but not required. A minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in a medical office setting along with recent insurance experience is required to qualify.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients professionally both in person and over the phone
- Promptly and accurately manage patient inquiries and appointment requests
- Schedule office visits, procedures, and imaging
- Notify providers of patient arrivals and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMR system
- Verify insurance coverage, prior authorizations, collect copayments, and provide financial counseling as needed
- Support office operations through proactive inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver compassionate service by anticipating patient needs and reducing anxiety through clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office at the same facility
- Open to traveling from one facility to the next as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to accuracy and follow-through
- Proficiency with EMR systems and general office software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and long-term career growth
Schedule
- Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
Compensation
- Starting at $16+/hour, based on experience and tenure
