Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Doctor of Osteopathy to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive osteopathic medical care, utilizing your expertise to promote healing and wellness through a holistic approach. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to accurately diagnose health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) techniques alongside conventional therapies.
- Utilize advanced medical imaging and diagnostic radiology tools such as CT scans, ultrasound, and other EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to support clinical evaluations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse specialties including family medicine.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, ostomy care, and basic invasive interventions.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accurate CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Provide health coaching and patient education on lifestyle modifications, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
- Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient settings across multiple specialties such as family medicine..
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic radiology (including CT), and clinical evaluation techniques.
- Experience performing procedures like suturing, IV infusion, and wound care in various clinical environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
