Job Location: Charleston, WV
Position Summary:
Accountable for maintaining the Inpatient Unit, and Charleston Office if needed, in a sanitary, orderly fashion. This position is expected to report any defects or repairs needed to maintain the physical appearance of the Inpatient Unit and/or Charleston Office. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months’ housekeeping experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Work Environment:
Exposure to cleaning chemicals, odors, and bodily fluids.
Possible exposure to infectious diseases.
Indoor and outdoor work depending as required.
Varying temperatures and humidity levels.
Required use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment, tools, or machinery.
