Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Finance Manager at our Honda automotive financing department. In this pivotal role, you will guide customers through the financing process, offer tailored financial solutions, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise in financial services and customer relationship management will help drive sales and enhance dealership success.
Duties
- Assist customers in understanding loan options, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) disclosures, and facilitate smooth loan processing
- Conduct credit analysis to determine appropriate financing solutions for each customer
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, insurance, and service plans to maximize dealership revenue
- Negotiate terms with customers while ensuring compliance with legal and contractual standards
- Manage title processing, contract preparation, and deal documentation accurately and efficiently
- Utilize financial software to process loans, generate reports, and maintain detailed records
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, ensuring a positive buying experience
Requirements
- Proven experience as a loan officer or in a similar financial services role within the automotive or dealership industry
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, contracts, and loan processing procedures including TILA regulations
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity
- Proficiency in financial software applications and basic math skills for accurate calculations
- Experience in automobile sales or dealership operations is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage customer relationships confidently
- Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Familiarity with title processing and deal structuring processes
