Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment to produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise in machine operation, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Operate assigned manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to laser cutting machines, press brakes, saws, CNC equipment, and other fabrication machinery.
- Review work orders, drawings, specifications, and production schedules to understand job requirements.
- Set up machines and adjust controls as needed to ensure accurate production.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality standards are met.
- Measure completed parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues before they impact production.
- Report machine malfunctions, maintenance concerns, and quality issues to supervision immediately.
- Maintain accurate production records, job travelers, and quality documentation.
- Ensure materials are properly identified, handled, and stored throughout the production process.
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with material movement, loading, unloading, and staging as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and shipping departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measuring devices.
- Basic mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
