Position Overview
The Operations Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of Manna House Ministries. This role leads multiple program areas, including the Food Pantry, Thrift Boutique, Donations Center, and Processing Center. The Operations Manager ensures that all programs operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the mission and values of Manna House Ministries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily food pantry and ministry operations for efficient service delivery.
- Supervise department managers and ensure clear communication across teams.
- Develop systems for inventory management, donation processing, and distribution.
- Recruit, train, and support staff and volunteers in a faith-centered environment.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety, and food-handling regulations.
- Track, analyze, and report operational data and program performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and achieve strategic goals.
- Conduct staff interviews, evaluations, and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Represent Manna House Ministries in community partnerships and public events.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in operations management, nonprofit leadership, retail, or logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience managing teams and volunteers.
- Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Commitment to and alignment with the Christian mission of Manna House Ministries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in food pantry operations, thrift store management, or community outreach.
- Experience in volunteer coordination and warehouse logistics.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Full-time, onsite role based in Rincon, Georgia.
- Some evenings or weekends may be required.
- Work takes place in office, warehouse, and thrift store environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $42,000+, based on experience and qualifications.
